More than 15 million people -- including thousands of Trenton and Camden residents -- depend on the Delaware River for clean, reliable drinking water. However, the Delaware is threatened by overdevelopment, habitat loss, polluted runoff, flooding, and stream erosion -- and it needs attention from our elected leaders.

It's going to take all four governors of the Delaware River Basin states (New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Delaware) coming together to create a new vision, prioritize our significant resources, and further watershed-wide planning and protection if we're going to keep the Delaware healthy and clean for our families and communities.

Fortunately, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy has already taken strides to protect the Delaware River Watershed. Add your name below to thank Governor Phil Murphy for supporting the Delaware River Watershed and urge him to commit to working with his fellow governors to protect the Delaware River Watershed:

Dear Governor Phil Murphy,

Thank you for taking strides to protect the Delaware River Watershed and for working with your fellow governors across the watershed! All four governors of the Delaware River Basin states should come together to create a new vision, prioritize our significant resources, and further watershed-wide planning and protection. The Delaware River is threatened by overdevelopment, habitat loss, polluted runoff, flooding, and stream erosion - but with your dedication and commitment, you've shown that these issues can be addressed. Your leadership is greatly appreciated.
